GAGE - logodesign and webdesign
The GAGE project was developed by Dr. Luciana Lima and Prof. Dr.
Patrícia Gouveia and multiple interdisciplinary researchers from the
Department of Multimedia Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University
of Lisbon, with aru participating in the project between 2020 and
2024.
The aim of GAGE (Game Art and Gender Equity, 2018–2024) was to
highlight the role of womenx in the Portuguese gaming industry,
exploring the ongoing challenges to gender equity while promoting
female participation in this economic and cultural field. The project
sought to foster diversity, encourage inclusive practices, and support
change in values and behaviors within the gaming sector.
Alongside contributing to collaborative academic publications with the
GAGE team, aru was responsible for the design of the project’s logo
and website (https://gage1.webflow.io/). For this contribution, she
was awarded a three-month scholarship by the Interactive Technologies
Institute of the Laboratory for Robotics and Engineering Systems,
Portugal, under the EURAXESS – European Commission program.
